When we got home for Las Vegas I knew America was going to be so beyond mad at me but we had to get married in that moment, I can't describe the feeling I had for him right then and there and I had to do something to express how I felt so we said “Screw it, we're getting married” but now we're happily married laying on the new couch in Travis’s apartment. Im slowly getting eaten up inside waiting until America comes home so I can show her the ring and let her get her anger out for me going behind her back and eloping. I know if she did that to me I would understand but America's different she loves to be involved in everything and her being at my “wedding” is very important. At that moment lying on Travis's chest I heard a beating that I was hoping was his heart but it was America's footsteps …show more content…
Just when I was going to reveal my secret to her she said “I have one last thing to tell you.’’ Thinking in my mind what could she possibly have to tell me getting married is such a big step. Looking deep into her eyes and then looking down to her stomach that she was awkwardly holding with her hands. I finally realized what the big secret was. America looked up smiling and exclaimed “I’m pregnant!! I just got back from the doctor and it’s real it is actually happening, I didn’t want to tell until I was positive please don’t be mad!”,
“Wow Merica I don’t know what to say i’m super excited but also so nervous how are you possibly going to have enough money to support a baby? It’s not like high school where we just had a bag of flour, you actually have to take care of it!”
“Ugh” “It's so like you to pick out all the negative of the situation”
