For this class, I had to develop an IEP for my case study student who was Number 3. Number 3 was a challenging student who needed a lot of supports. When I first began doing my first IEP, I had never attempted at doing one before and it much more in depth than I had imagined. It look a long for me to do my IEP because I had to keep reading over my case study student’s description. Number 3 also struggles in a lot of areas so it took a while to decide what his most important needs were. The main needs that I decide to focus on were his difficulty in reading and math, his aggression, and overall life skills. When doing my IEP, it took time for me think of what need was important and how to approach the needs. In order to monitor this, I would create my own data sheet that is a simple calendar. On calendar I would put a tally every time Number 3 requires a reminder for using the assistive technology properly. If he reaches his goal for the day (under so many times), I will put a sticker with a smiley face over that day. I would keep this for my own personal record to make sure that when the time to revise his IEP comes around, I would have appropriate data. Lastly, this could be done easily with 22 other students in the
