At this time, I am here to learn and enhance a child’s education. According to my teenage daughter, I also exist to make her life miserable. Being the parent I am will hopefully help her make good decisions in her life, from examples I have given. People identify beliefs by example. It is an enormous hope today that children learn from great examples. I am also inclined to think I am a survivor in order to demonstrate life is difficult but survival is accomplishable and dependent upon the individual and their determination. Life has not been easy for me, but I thrive, survive, and have the determination to help others in my quest for happiness and peace. By doing so, I hope to instill others with the same motivation to succeed per their own existence and beliefs. In the end, my identity has given me tools to make decisions that many may not believe. One of my objectives is to give adults, students, and others searching for answers hoping to hear about experiences others have undergone and survived. In turn, these other individuals or groups see the opportunity to accomplish greatness even with their challenges because I share my own experiences and show proof of my success from the determination

An individual’s character cultivates from personal experiences, failures and life circumstances. Tested through time and still holding true, learning through mistakes remains the valuable way to learn. So far in my past three years of being at WSU, I have dealt with some very stressful and traumatic experiences, but it was always school and being surrounded by my professors and classmates that kept me focused on maintaining my grades and taking advantage of every opportunity WSU had to offer me. Overcoming these challenges while in school, like a sexual assault, was difficult and overwhelming, but I know that I would not have been able to do it without the support of all those I was surrounded by, and I believe it is these experiences that have made me a better student today. I want to advocate and be an ally for other students who have experienced these types of challenges, so they know that WSU will always offer its support and guidance, and refuses to let anyone just simply fail. I also have a confident and determined attitude, and refuse to simply give up during tough times that require extra work, time, and dedication, but instead believe that it is these qualities that build a strong individual who is able to thrive in any situation. I am also an effective problem solver, even when unorganization, time, and place is a consideration, because one must not allow insignificant factors like these, alter their chances of…
