I enjoyed the characters, and the stories of the each person. I think that the actors really gave something to the characters. The voice, how they projected their voice, grabbed the attention of the audience. The sarcasm was easily noticed and able to pick up on which made the audience more engaged into the play. The audience all had that catharsis moment. I was able to look next to me and across the seating and see everyone laughing at the same jokes, and following the characters. I did not know what to expect at first, all I knew was that it was a comedy. But I could have never expected to see what I saw. I really like Toinette, she was by far my favorite character. I liked the story of her, I thought her sarcasm, eye rolls, big sighs, funny remarks made it more entertaining. There really wasn't much I did not like. The songs were catchy and witty, the singing was very impressive. The only think I didn't care for was the nephew, not that it was acted badly or anything. I actually thought it was weird but weird enough to be intrigued by it. It was just creepy the way the costume was, that it was hard and weird to watch, but I could not look away. Also the whole Argan being a doctor at the end was such a unexpected curve ball. I was just confused by the whole thing but it didn't make the play bad. All in all I would absolute recommend this play, I actually wished I could have taken my mother with me, because I think she would have enjoyed the play as
