When being a leader, heroes set a good example for other people to follow because they look up to them. Malala encouraged people to do the right thing. In the documentary Malala, Malala shows leadership by saying, “ Your words can turn worlds around.” What she is saying is that people’s words can change the world. As stated in the second paragraph, Pakistani women are not allowed to speak up. So many people do not so that they would not get hurt or killed. One leader in Pakistan stood up and leaded the people to stand up to equality in education. Many people have followed her and wanted to be just like her. If someone is discouraged that means that they gave up. The problem overcame the person. If people are determined when doing a problem that means that they do not give up. No matter how difficult the situation is they keep going. In the excerpt Where I Find My Hero, Olive Stone states how scientists are a good example of determination. “ Scientists spend their lives trying to find cures to diseases.” What Stone was trying to say was that scientists for example, have to be determined to find diseases. If they are discouraged they will not find cures and more and more people will die. Thanks to scientists being determined they have found many cures that helped people all over the world like a hero. The reader could infer this by his actions of voicing his opinion in public (page 144) to his decision to keep running his school (page 95) no matter what consequences he may face. As Ziauddin attempts to keep his family safe as well as do what’s best for his country, he makes decisions, rebels against the law, and most of all, fights for what is right.…
