Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world. This this is a quote by Albert Einstein, and knowledge is a concept that we as humans all know. Imagination is a creative part of who we are, one can't help but imagine things as they go about their day. The part “imagination is limited” really strikes me as it really feels true, in that if someone knows all things they are at a limit to what they know. However; imagination is not limited because there is no end to what someone can think of. Imagination fuels many people, whether it be through a book, or an invention. Imagine a world without imagination, and think of what would not happen. You would not have books that talk of far away galaxies, or maybe movies that depicted what it would be like to live on another planet. Notice that as you read this you are constantly thinking and using your imagination. Knowledge is important and if we continue to pursue more knowledge then we can grow smarter. A few examples of imagination is movies or shows of space travel. The concept of flight has been around for a few hundred years, but what would have happened if the wright brothers had not pictured humans flying through the sky? They would not have looked at birds and thought about building something that could get a human into the air, in fact most; if not all inventions would not have come to place if someone did not think. So, back to the quote, if we think about it more, imagination is what really drives us. Being imaginative is writing this essay because without it I would still be trying to write the first few sentences. If we think of something cool we may want to bring this thought to life. Imagining is a wonderful thing, it allows us to think outside the box, and to appreciate all we
