When he was a young man he was an aerial stuntman and learned to fly in Nebraska. In 1927 he became the first person to cross the Atlantic ocean solo. He flew from New York to Bourget Aerodrome Paris. He named his plane the spirit of ST. Louis. The flight took him 33 hours, 30 minutes and 29.8 seconds. When Charles Lindbergh left he said ”Life is like a landscape you live in the midst of it, but can describe it only from the vantage point of distance”. Although he died in August 1974 in Kipahulu, Hawaii at least he was able to describe the landscape.
My explorers are different and similar in many ways. The difference between the two is that John Cabot traveled for fame, money, and knowledge and Charles Lindbergh traveled to have that achievement of doing something that no one thought was possible. They’re also similar in many ways such as where they explored and both of the men sailed across the Atlantic. Another way they different is that John Cabot sailed across the Atlantic ocean with hundred of people and boats while as Charles Lindbergh flew on plane by himself.
