The sport of curling
Specific Purpose: To inform about the rich history of Curling and the basic rules of the sport.
Thesis Statement: Curling is a sport that originated in Scotland in the 1500s and is often overlooked despite being an Olympic level sport for almost a hundred years.
Introduction:
Attention Gaining Device: Curling is often equated with applying a hot ceramic barrel to your hair, but it is also the name a winter sport played at the Olympics every four years.
Credibility: I have never played Curling, but it has captivated my attention ever since my brother first made me watch it during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

The sheet of ice that Curling is played on has a pebble like surface form through frozen water droplets.

2. One gold medal was won by the men’s team in 2018.
F. Finally, Curling has written rules about required manners, referred to as “The Spirit of Curling.”
