I thoroughly scrutinized an article titled Laugh Your Way To Better Health, by Sarah Schmelling which was about the benefits laughter had on health. I chose article because laughter is a common phenomenon in most peoples ' lives and it would be amazing to find out a simple action like this can result in better health. Analyzing this article would also allow me to determine the credibility of the article. I successfully examined the effectiveness of the article Laugh Your Way To Better Health by breaking it down and looking at it based on individual categories such as the appeal, visuals, arrangement, vocabulary, sources and similarities with other articles about laughter. I wrote this paper all by myself without help and managed to only 3 grammatical mistakes. There also is not a single contraction in this paper whereas in the review paper I ended up using a few even after having my paper looked over by a tutor. There is one thing I would fix in this paper and that is citations, I lack proper citations in places where I paraphrased information. I was able to critically and analytically read the articles, take notes on them, combine and arrange all the information into the body paragraphs that supported my thesis.
