Isabelle Anne Romero, of Filipino decent, standing 5’3 inches was born October 10th, 2001, in Fresno California. Isabelle lives with both her parents and her younger sister Natalie most of the year. However half of the year her grandparents who are from the Philippines come and stay with her family. When they are in town it’s an absolute treat to everyone because of the homemade egg rolls that they generously share with the entire community.
Isabelle playing both comp and varsity volleyball, still gets a rush of excitement when making an overhand serve over the net, despite the fact that she has been playing since she was in the 5th grade. She used to play basketball and soccer but once her love for volleyball ignited she no longer felt the need to participate in them anymore. She still finds time to enjoy mini golf, boogie boarding, and hiking with her family. Her favorite spot to catch a wave is any island in Hawaii over the summer with her family. Her favorite foods are sushi and ice cream, specifically Cold Stone’s mint chip. However, the intense flavor of Brussels sprouts are often turned away by her taste buds. Isabelle doesn’t have any dogs right now but hopes to get a daschumd terrier mix in the near future because she absolutely adores them. Though school offers many great field trips, sports, and athletic opportunities she cannot stand homework especially math. Painting ghosts and coloring Christmas trees are the only tolerable homework assignments in her mind due to the combination of some of her favorite things. Isabelle enjoys dressing up as a ninja for Halloween and eating candy. She gets a little extra excited when they give her, her favorite candy, kit Kat. Only a few short months later Christmas arrives and excites her again! She loves the long break from school, all the family time, and the anxious excitement of Christmas
