Jamaica is the natural home for the cacao or cocoa trees. The trees are watered by the Amazon, and the Orinoco rivers. The cocoa tree usually grows beneath the shadow of other trees. Shade is the most important essential for the cocoa tree to grow.
Sugar, bananas, coffee, and cocoa are grown in Jamaica because they are a fairly high percentage of Jamaica’s agricultural exports. Also these crops are grown because Jamaica has a significant amount of drain in the natural economy. That means Jamaica has drain from their wild life preservation to help water those plants.
Other of many imports of Jamaica are aluminum oxide, aluminum ore, refined petroleum, hard liquor, raw sugar, crude petroleum, cars, packaged medicaments, and petroleum gas. These imports help Jamaica acquire easy health care, sweetener for their food, gas for their ovens, cars for them to drive in, petroleum for their buildings to work, gas for factories, electricity for schools and
