Jim Hoover was 3 years old in the 1940. So, he didn’t remember that much at the Great Depression. His father was born in 1911 and his mother was born in 1913. They got married in 1935. I had a younger brother and sister. His mother’s family was really big and on his mother’s side he had 9 aunts and six uncles and he had 1 uncle on his father’s side.
