As the proletariats are struggling to make a living, what makes it challenging is the determination of what is reality. (Applerouth, p. 49) Anything can become an object and labor is classified as that object. The workers are focused on producing the product that they are not focused on themselves. If something valuable is being produced, that individual will change their own values they once believed in. In an interdependent society, people will work together and there is no type of individuality being expressed. “…independent of the particular conditions in which individuals are placed; they pass on and it remains.” (Applerouth, p.113) Regardless of how much effort a person tries to change the system the unity of the people will over rule a person’s own purpose in life. Moreover, in a specialized society, a person who is just an average member of the society will receive no benefit from their talents. This person is unimportant that they start to lose track of bonds within their own society and will not be recognized.
