The issue on transgenders was probably, in my opinion, the biggest factor in this election. In all honesty it was one of the most important issues on the list. I mean we constantly hear about this everywhere no matter how long it has passed. One person brings it up and then suddenly you have a group of people shouting at each other. Some stating the “laws” of the twenty-first century while the majority, at least in texas, preach the bible. And although I didn’t share the same opinion as Kenyatta, I understood the reasoning behind her decision and I respect it. Although I didn’t agree on all her responses, I was able to understand her reasoning behind her answers. For example, we didn’t exactly agree on the death penalty, but I admire the way she created a solution, by means of a process that would give the persecuted the right to a trial before being sentenced to death, instead of just bluntly saying kill
