Kerri Walsh Jennings grew up in an athletic family, which inspired her career choice. She was born on August 15, 1978 in Santa Clara, California. Kerri’s father played minor league baseball and her mother was a star volleyball player at Santa Clara University. Kerri graduated from Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, California, where she was a volleyball and basketball player.(www.biography.com). Kerri Walsh got married to Casey Jennings an American pro beach volleyball player in 2005. Together they have two sons and a daughter. She took fourth place in 2000 when she played indoor volleyball for the U.S. Women’s Indoor National Team in Sydney. Kerri earned gold medals in 2004, 2008, and 2012 with Misty May-Treanor in the Olympics who's autograph Kerri got way back in 1996. Who knew that eight years later they would be partners. She also won a bronze medal in 2016 with her partner April Ross (www.teamusa.org). Kerri Walsh gained overnight popularity when she made an appearance on the US National Team. She played Olympic sand volleyball in Sydney, Athens, Beijing, and Rio de Janeiro.
