Leadership is a key characteristic of mine that has helped me grow throughout my undergraduate experience. One major way I have demonstrated leadership skills is through my position at the Woodlands Foundation that is located in Wexford, Pennsylvania. This job, as a camp counselor, has given me the opportunity to stand out as a role model for people of all ages that have mild and severe physical, mental, and developmental disabilities. Not only am I a role model, I also have to take on the responsibilities of a leader by setting up events and activities for weekend retreats and make sure the day went by smoothly.
Another experience that I have had to demonstrate leadership skills in is being a shift manager at The Philly Pretzel Factory.
