The Life medieval people lived revolved around getting by and war. War was a large part of medieval life because they were under constant threats of war and conquest. A large war spanning the time of 4 decades, The Crusades was a large scale war involving Hundreds of thousands of Europeans. The Wars they fought were mainly in the name of the church. There armor in these times were simple but effective, they would wear their clothes under their leather layer, then they would wear a chainmail layer, and then steel plating over top of everything.
