This essay will focus on the A.B Paterson College Early Childhood Centre, which is located in Arundel on the Gold Coast. This early learning centre caters for young children from two years to twelve years of age. The centre provides both long day care as well as outside school hours care (before and after school care) to all families involved with the service. Long day care is provided for young children from two years to five years of age, whilst outside school hours care is provided for school-aged children ranging from five years to twelve years of age. All children learn in a energetic and supportive environment whilst participating in exciting learning opportunities designed to bring the programme and their imaginations alive (ABPC, 2015).
