One of the main feelings I felt while reading the beginning of this book was being uninterested. I felt uninterested because the book was very boring and didn't have many suspenseful parts at the beginning. Once I kept reading, I started to become way more interested because their was so much suspense. I also found myself sad at many parts because of the death of Alaska’s mother. I couldn’t imagine how hard it must be to lose a very important person in your life. It also made me sad when Alaska died and seeing how the other characters reacted to it.
