Love versus Hatred: A grand theme that properly depicts the wondrous tragedy, Romeo and Juliet. The entire story always comes back to the same dilemma of how “two households both alike in dignity”, fight and argue from hatred that was poised from an “ancient grudge” that not even they remember its origin. The Montague’s and Capulet’s refuse to make amends and from that bring horror to the fine streets of Verona. There seems to be no end to their fighting as well as usual accounts of death. It shows that by the tragic death of Romeo and Juliet, the family feud would end. Throughout the tragedy, Romeo and Juliet discover how to defeat the hatred of their families past with their love. Many challenges were put before them and because of their love; they were able to make it through most of these obstacles. The result of their death ended in the mending of the two families.
Throughout this tragedy, many themes are produced. Love versus Hatred provides the best description in my thoughts. The remarkable process that Romeo and Juliet went through out of love truly proves that Love is stronger than hatred.
