Lyn Cheney's Students Of Success

In Lyn Cheney’s story “Students of Success,” the author shares with the key of being successful and happy. Also she describes that students avoid liberal arts and one of the most reason is because they believe that they will not be able to make a high salary. In other words, they are choosing money instead of the job that they are interested in. The narrator depicts that there are some problem to predict the skills which will be the most valuable in the future. Basically, to survive in the future students have to be good at comprehensive knowledge. This quote helps me prove the argument that being successful and happy are two very different things. Success it is part of your goal that you are trying to get with a lot of efforts, for example a good job where you will get enough money. However you may not be happy with this type of job even you have enough income from it.
In our world, there are few people who have reached success and happiness, because it needs a lot of effort and characteristics. One of the good examples is optimistic. This kind of people see the world globally and do not stuck on some problems, they different because never give up in order to get their desire. Naturally, as they find one door of success they will follow their instincts to find another door until they will be satisfied them. This process goes until the end of their life.
