Thomas Jefferson is known by many as the 3rd president of the United States. During the final years of his presidency, he bought a humongous piece of land which was labeled the Louisiana Purchase. That 530 million acres of land led to very impactful moments in american history like: Lewis and Clark’s Expedition in 1804, The Indian Removal Act, The Mexican War, The Trail of Tears, the questioning of slavery within the north, Bleeding Kansas, a decade of the gold rush, and many more.
