Many fans of comic book movies have expressed wanting more diverse superheroes, as opposed to the vast majority being straight, white males. Within the Young Avengers, they have had multiple black characters, a Latina character, multiple gay characters, a bisexual character, a genderfluid character, and characters who have mentioned they would be open to relationships with those of the same-sex (something that’s good to point out is that none of these characters are blatant stereotypes either, even if that’s how they originally appeared in previous comics). Many of their best heroes, such as the X-Men and Fantastic Four, are owned by 20th Century Fox, as well as Universal and Sony owning a few others. The Skrulls, an alien race, is apparently co-owned by both Marvel Studios and 20th Century Fox, which causes complications in the origin of Teddy Altman (AKA Hulkling); Teddy is half-Skrull, as well as half-Kree. Introducing the Kree side of him would be simple as they have been introduced in both the 2014 film Guardian’s of the Galaxy and the popular television series Agent’s of S.H.I.E.L.D, which are both parts of the MCU. But it’s unknown exactly which Skrull’s Marvel Studios owns, and whether or not they would have to change Teddy’s
