Impact of Vaccines
Section one:
The disease I am doing is measles. Measles are deadly diseases; they are caused by viruses called paramyxovirus (1). The effects of measles and the description of it on the human body are: Fever, dry cough, runny nose, sore throat, swollen or puffy eyes, white spots found in the mouth inside lining of the cheek and skin rash (2). Vaccines for measles (MMR) were first discovered in 1963. But before that. It was guessed that 3 to 4 million people in only united states were effected each year and by the time kids turned 15 years old the have been diagnosed with measles. And every year around 400 to 500 people died, 48,000 were in the hospital and 4,000 suffered from swelling of the brain because of this fatal disease (3)

Basically, what a vaccine does is that they inject you with a dead or inactive replica of the disease so that your body remembers the disease and knows what to do when the actual disease comes.
