Psychotherapy gives the client to discuss stress in a safe environment
Physical therapy may be used from restricted ROM due to the disorder

You treat pain if client says they are having pain.
Monitor client who are expressing suicidal thoughts or inflicting self-harm. To ensure the safety of the client.
Have a kind demeanor when approaching client. Makes nurse seem approachable.
Give client the time to complete a task as needed. Client may become agitated if he/she feels rushed.
Encourage the client to participate in group therapies. Gets the client to interact with other people.
Use words of encouragement when praising them. Raise their self-esteem.
Provide support to the family. Family will be going through a difficult time so offer them comfort.
Administer Prozac per doctor’s order. Client will be more willing to participate in therapy which leads to a more successful treatment.

Interventions for Prozac
Monitor carefully in clients with impairment in renal and liver function
Monitor for S&S of anaphylaxis
