PTSD has been more geared to military soldiers that having this disorder but this is incorrect because anyone who has had any type dramatic experience for example, sexual abuse, car accident, domestic violence, bring abused as a child etc. These are just some of the issues that can cause PTSD and once something occurs that triggers anything remotely close to what happened to that person can cause flare ups causing a person to either have extreme anxiety attacks, agitation, irrability, hypervigilance and self-destructive behavior. Jobs are hard for a person with Mental illness to keep because of the condition which can create a lot of missed work time resulting in bad attendance 80% percent of people are jobless and it had been estimated that two thirds of people with this illness can actually hold their jobs. 66% percent of people with Mental illness want to work but because of their situation it causes a lot of discrimination due to the illness causing missed worked time resulted into being retaliated to either make a person with this disorder to react or find something wrong with their job performance.
Mental Illness treatment as we know there is no cure for this but there is treatment resulting to seeing a psychiatrist, counseling and medications that can help you control your moods and react in a more controllable way but these treatment can also have side effects to. Some medications can make you drowsy, weight gain or not having any emotions at all. Depending on the medication it could set a relapse and make the person having suicidal
