"Ow," I moaned. I opened my eyes and realized that I was on the wood chip ground in front of the swings. What happened! I couldn't feel my ankle and I was all scratched up. I touched my ankle and it felt like it would hurt, but it didn't hurt me. I wouldn't want to make a big scene. "Great," I whispered to myself.A recess monitor was coming over. I got up and used the swing as a seat. "Are you okay?" she nervously asked. "Yea," I told her under dramatically. "Do you need help?" she hinted worriedly. Looking directly at me. The class went first. Then us in the back. While we were walking down the long hall way I wanted to introduce myself, but afraid that she will mad at me because she probablydidn't want to help me in the first place. Looked down at the end of my crutches, embarrassed like always. "So, how did you break your foot," asked Jordan. "I broke my ankle, not my foot," I assured looking down at my ankle. "Oh, so how did you break your ankle," asked Jordan. "I tripped," I continued, " and fell on it a certain way to make me break it." "Oh, um... okay," she finished. She probably had nothing else to
