Due to the large amounts of dependency on their teachers, college freshmen do not have the proper preparation from their public high school and early education to conquer college. In the blog “Message to My Freshman Students” written by Keith M. Parsons, he stated “In high school your education was basically a test-preparation service.” Without the proper learning experience in place, I believe that compared to college, high school is a big leap for most students.
