In the book Messiah of the Masses: Huey P. Long and the Great Depression, the life of Huey Pierce Long is fully narrated and studied. In chapter one, the author (Glen Jeansonne) narrates the childhood of Long and gives an account of primary occurrences. On August 30, 1893 in Winnfield, Louisiana, Long was born into the world. He possessed a lot of knowledge, intelligence and was also very charming. He was born into the family of ten and his parents were Caledonia and Hugh Long. He never got to live a stable life because his family was always on the move.
