The corruption of the Middle Ages lead to the beginning of the Renaissance, the renaissance gave many people a chance at life of those people were artist. Michelangelo is highly regarded as the most famous artist of the renaissance. There are many reasons why and that help support the claim that Michelangelo is the greatest artist of the renaissance. My first reason to help support this claim would be from the MIchelangelo DBQ it stated, “Painter, Sculptor, Architect, and Poet MIchelangelo was a master of them all.” These skills gave him his individualism, or his variety of skills. That is my first reason why he is the greatest artist of the renaissance. My second and last reason on why i believe he is the most significant renaissance artist is from web it also stated, “ His works include the “David” and “Pieta” statues and the ceiling paintings of the Rome sistine chapel, including the “Last Judgement.” Through all his paintings and sculptures was how he gave to his community and showed humanism .
