We are proud of the reputation that we have built, which is based on offering excellent service and value to our stakeholders, including our employees, investors, contractors and vendors, through fairness, integrity and our best efforts. Every employee plays a critical role in accomplishing these goals and contributing to organizational success. To help the Company succeed, all employees must perform their position to the best of their ability. The objective pinpoints and communicates the goal of the decision to all parties involved by providing them with a simple framework. “One useful tip is to write it [the objective] down, for seeing it in writing often helps you to attain the necessary clarity of mind” (Adair, 2010). This is arguably the most important step in the decision-making process, as it clearly outlines the desired end-point. In the case of our sales staff, I would assume it would be to increase numbers. As Adair states, preparation for determining a decision-making process is like a spiral downward, as shown in Figure 1. The first step is to determine the objective, or desired outcome; then one must follow into collecting the appropriate data, developing and identifying all available options and see them through to the final step of implementation. If the most appropriate decision-making process was identified on the basis of the end-goal, then you would meet back at your objective because it will have been successfully
