Mintonette Research Paper

Hi! Today I will be telling you about my topic. My topic is Volleyball. When volleyball was first made, it’s name was “Mintonette”. Volleyball is a game where two teams of six players are on a court and are hitting a large ball back and forth over the net without letting it hit the ground. Volleyball is also where 3 plays on each team hit the ball one after another, once someone has hit the ball that player loses the right to hit the ball again. This is my argument on why volleyball is one of the hardest sports to learn.
One of the 3 questions I had was, What was the first name for volleyball? The first name for volleyball was “Mintonette”. The game was created by William G. Morgan in 1895. The game of volleyball was also played by professionals

The biggest part about this is sportsmanship. It is a big part because without sportsmanship, equality would have no meaning. When playing volleyball, you should always have a positive attitude. You wouldn’t want to say anything disrespectful and hurt some person’s feelings. Showing sportsmanship is a great start with even the opposing team. Showing sportsmanship to another team is like being happy because they won.
Volleyball is played on a court that is approximately 29 feet and 6 inches wide, and 59 feet long. The net that divides the court into two sides is about 7 feet off the ground. The volleyball is about the size of a soccer ball, about 26 inches. When serving the ball, you can not step on the endline or else, it’s an automatic out. Overall, Volleyball is just another sport.
In conclusion, I say that more people should play volleyball than sports like soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, football, tennis, rugby, and swimming. Volleyball is a very great sport. There are many teams around that have won a ‘Junior league’ title. Hopefully, after reading my paper you all understand how good of a sport volleyball is. Right now, about 14 million people play volleyball as a normal sport at schools, colleges, organizations, and

At some point in every person's life, they will have a special experience that will stick with them forever. One of my most memorable moments happened recently at a home volleyball game against Traverse City West. Approaching freshman volleyball season, the upperclassman spoke highly of the importance of overpowering TC West. As a ninth grader, I had the mindset that I would be playing for the freshmen team. I didn't think it really mattered what the outcome of the game would be, since we were only ninth graders.…
