Dr Strange Character Analysis Mordo

Mordo is one of the characters from Doctor Strange movie, he is one of the a subordinate of The Ancient or arguably the one who always helps The Ancient One in everything at Kamar-Taj. In the movie, Mordo can be categorized as one of static character. It can be seen from the beginning until the end of the movie, where was Mordo without any doubt follow the rule from The Ancient One. The content can be seen from the scene in the movie. The first content is showed in the scene where Mordo knows that Dr. Strange wanted to find Kamar-Taj, he drove him. And don’t forget, he also told Dr. Strange to maintain his attitude during his stay at Kmar-Taj (24:10 – 25:29). But, the analysis of Mordo as a static character can be seen in visual as like it can be seen in the scene. For example where he trained the strength of Dr. Strange's hand is accompanied by The Ancient One next to him. In this scene, Strange also had time to ask Mordo where The Ancient One came from. Mordo replied that no one knows where she comes from and how old she is, but he explains that the teacher is someone who is tough and unpredictable, no mercy, and she makes him as it is now. And in that scene Mordo also reminded Dr. Strange to trust the gurus and do not get lost (46:06-46:32). In Mordo case why the analysis showed that Mordo is one of the static character is because Mordo only following where the story goes. Just like explanation from paragraphs bellow. It is not because Mordo did not have courage to do something of his own, it is because Mordo feels that the gurus are very influential on his life now.
