Difficult experience, which is the essential part of our lives, guides the analysis of the difficulties and challenging topics. It helps to outline what the learner thinks he need to know to formulate a viable solution. Therefore, most people think that difficulties are bound to exert negative influence on us. As far as I am concerned, people can benefit from the difficult experience they encounter. In deed, difficult experience often makes it harder for us to succeed, but when we look back, we will find that obstacles give us valuable experience and push us to achieve greatness as there is saying

In grade school, I was always the guy who bullies loved. There were many instances in which they stole my glasses, lunch money, and even my watch. Due to this, I joined a karate class and started learning how to defend myself. After about two months, my karate skills were so good that no bully dared to threaten me. After succeeding in achieving my goal, I established a goal-oriented mindset. Due to my success in learning karate, I have established a habit of going after what I want. My hardships helped transform me into a person that plays an active role in achieving my goals , find solution to my problem , and learn me new skills . These Difficult experiences have taught me an important thing about life: it is possible to achieve everything you want in life, as long as you put in the effort.
" Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the complex experiences which he have overcome." - Booker T. Washington

In the light of above mentioned examples, It become the evidence that though obstacles and complex experiences adversely affect our lives contemporary, they actually bring us benefit in the future and the key to success, as we can see from Colonel Sanders , Charles Dickens and my personal experience that people do indeed benefit greatly from hardships and difficult experiences. How are individuals able to expand their identities in society? If individuals expanded their identities, would they be able to begin to form a utopia? An utopia is an ideal world where everyone is happy together without any worries or concerns. In the book Brave New World, Aldous Huxley creates a utopian world where individuals are created in a community using genetic engineering, dehumanizing them by conditioning their brains for consumerism to create stability in society. Everyone has faced a certain point in their lives where adversity has led their aptitudes out. Adversity affects people in different ways whether physically, mentally, or financially. In the quote by Horace, a roman poet, adversity is viewed as hardships that people overcome every day in their lives that make them who they are today. Although adversity can make people endure, adversities develop the person to become prosperous and bloom vigorous and effulgent like a rose. From personal experience and on views on successful people, I agree with Horace verbal expression because I believe that everything one surmounts in life makes them prosper and strive in everything they do.…

Resilient people do not bounce back from hard experiences; they find healthy ways to integrate them into their lives” (23). Obstacle is a double-edged sword, which are the advantages and disadvantages to me. If I choose to stay away from the obstacle rather than try to overcome them, and I still stand where I am, anything won’t change.
