I remember my first day of middle school like it was yesterday. I was about ten years old and very nervous. I’m not sure why though, because when entering middle school I already almost everybody in the grade. I probably thought that Ridgway was gonna be like a mini version of those high school, where there were huge bullies and people getting shoved into lockers. But it wasn’t like that all. I did have to get used to new teachers and the scheduling, but at the end of the day it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

I remember we had to choose a partner, select a step in the process, and study it. We then got a life-size dummy which our class “mummified it”. This project was one of my favorite projects in Ridgway. As you can obviously tell, sixth may have been my most eventful year in Ridgway Middle
