My Trip To Disney World

Improved Essays
The summer of 2015, I went to Disney World with my mom and step-dad. We had this trip planned since we hadn't gone for a while. On our second day there we went to Hollywood studios. For a while, I have been wanting to ride the rollercoaster Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, but I was not at the required height. Finally this year I had a growth spurt and I could now ride it. This ride is the fastest roller coaster in Disney World. It starts off fast, going from 0-60 in less than a second. During this ride, it goes every which way, and personally I love these rides. Since it's always a long line we decided to get a fastpass. In the late afternoon, we headed to the ride, but sadly they had some technical difficulties and had to shut

A few years ago, on a class trip, my friends had asked me to ride at least one roller coaster. It was not a large roller coaster, but it made me queasy just looking at it. I was confident that I would be able to go on and enjoy the experience. My confidence quickly evaporated when we began climbing up the roller coaster’s first hill. The ride dropped, and I was screaming so loudly that I could only hear myself.…

I remember the gut wrenching feeling in my stomach as my best friend and I approached the tallest and fastest roller coaster at Hershey Park, called SkyRush. I am not sure why I agreed to go on this roller coaster, considering most of the time at amusement parks I entertain myself with food, and miniature rides that stay level to the ground. Unlike me, my friend liked the rush and heart dropping feeling of being at the apex of a roller coaster and then dropping down at maximum speed. Personally, I preferred the ground, where I remained in full control of my own safety. Yet that afternoon I found myself standing in line for SkyRush.…

The length of the track is 2730 meters. The time of the ride is 42 seconds, which will be the best 42 seconds of your life! The ride is ranked 1st among all types of roller coaster for speed and length of track. We have tracks that reduce the amount of friction that slows the cart down. Our carts resemble baseballs, except for the fact that they’re 450 kilograms in mass!…

Sit back, buckle up, and get ready to scream because I love roller coasters. My family and I go to Cedar Point about every month in the summer, and my dad and I go and ride everything in the park. It is just so fun! The one thing I really like about roller coasters is that there are little rides for the youth kids also. My least favorite thing is when I am not tall enough to enjoy a ride, which doesn’t really occur anymore.…

When I was about 12 years old my dad took me to Disneyland to ride the Mount Everest roller coaster. This was going to be my first ever roller coaster so I was pretty excited. However, my excitement quickly turned to fear when the ride started moving. It was too fast, too high, and too loud for 12 year old me.…

When we got there, we decided to go in the single riders line, since the single riders line is usually faster than the regular line. And so we waited and after what seemed like a million years (actually milliseconds), we finally got to get on the ride. “Finally, we get to get on the ride,” I said. And it started out pretty slow,…

So this meant that my brother and sister got to sit in the very front of the roller coaster car, and my dad and I were right behind them. When we got in, it seemed like no time had passed from when we got in the line, to when we were seated in the ride getting ready for a moment that I would never forget. We waited for about 30 seconds for the workers to make sure everybody was strapped in safely. When the carts then started down this tiny slope to a straight away over the water. I was a mix of scared and excited for the ride.…

It was the largest, most thrilling roller coaster yet to be found. I didn't believe it but knowing my best friend Prisa she was not gonna let me miss out on as she would always say, “once in a lifetime opportunities”. It was a hot, sunny day as the sun lit up the whole park. The blunt air had no wind or even a soft gentle breeze. It was just plain old humid and to add on to that, we were crowded with a solid 200 people in the line,…

Yosemite National Park is the fourth most visited national park in the United States so camping reservations are a must before setting out on any camping trips! Sometimes, campgrounds can be booked months in advance and some sites are only open during certain seasons so I recommend planning in advance. My ideal place to set up camp is in the Wawona campground, closest to the Merced River and many of the wonders Yosemite National Park has to offer, such as Glacial Point or the Yosemite Valley. Upon arriving at my campground I am greeted by the tranquil sounds of the flowing Merced River accompanied by faint chirps coming from the towering pine trees that shield the campsite from the blistering sun above.…
