Volunteering at the NIH Clinical Center would be a unique and remarkably influential experience that would give me a great insight into the field I hope to pursue a career in. I want to be able to give back to my community through the field of health/medicine. By volunteering at the NIH Clinical Center, my knowledge on health and customer service will mature and I will be able to grow and learn from professionals. Through this opportunity, I would be able to gain an experience of a lifetime while fulfilling my desire to help patients as well as current NIH staff. The volunteering position seems like the perfect opportunity to combine service works with a chance to get involved in the medical field.
