• Each tribe has their own religion
• A ritual taken by adolescence boys, this includes a journey to have a vision of a future guardian spirit that includes: fasting, isolation and meditation. This rituals is about Animism and that everything has a spirit. Some explain it as a experience that takes the boy out of his body and while still containing consciousness. • In native American culture, to talk about and animal, was the same as talking about the spirit inside that animal.
• This is similar as when a mask is put on by a performer, the performer is becoming the spirit, that comes down to earth for the ceremony.

• Humans put on ceremonies to help them move/meditate between the three worlds: spirit world, human world and nature world.
• Native americans believe that human beings have multiple responsibilities to be connected with nature and to the nature world.
• Humans worship the spirits and they help the humans in return by giving gifts.
• Humans worship the spirits by giving them gifts, these gifts can come in many forms. From sacrifices and offerings to rituals such as fasting.
• People who are apart of negative sorcery, have consequences through life and the afterlife.
• Gifts were given to the dead, when they died. Sometimes their wives would kill themselves, when the husband died in order for them to be in the afterlife
