During the conversation regarding change implantation, the supervisors and the subordinate should be able to see each other interactions to the message. That is because the communicating face-to-face can help clarify the any confusions of the message, increase involvement in the process of change, and allow both speaker and listener to observe each other nonverbal cues (Klein, 1996). The nonverbal cues during this interaction matter to the success of the change implementation because it helps the supervisors seek the real opinions and perceptions of the subordinates. Not only that, the speaker can simultaneously also influence the listener with their nonverbal cues during the conversation. The reason is that nonverbal communication can be made intentional and the supervisors can control their own nonverbal cues in order to respond to the message from the subordinates (Binsfrahm, 2014). Knowing that the nonverbal cues are manageable, the supervisors can learn how to be more persuasive and open in order to help convince the subordinates. Moreover, during face-to-face communication, both verbal and nonverbal cues are being exchanged. Edinger and Patterson (1983) states that during the discussion, people who express the nonverbal cues that related to confidence are more persuasive regardless of their intelligence or ability. There are a variety of bodily language that associated with confidence that the supervisors can choose to express when communicating. When speaking, the supervisors should pause less, speak faster and louder, and overall make a uniform attempt with the verbal cues in order to increase the perceived confidence (Walker, 1997.) Not only these cues are tided to confidence but as we discussed, the the fluent of the speech is also tide to the credibility and persuasiveness of the speaker. Nonetheless, the supervisor should also be aware that they are also being observed by the subordinates when exchanging messages during the face-to-face communication. Because of this nature, the supervisors can also insert their influences over the subordinates’ opinion. However, the supervisors need to manage their own nonverbal cues in order to not showing any lack of confidence thus increase in the resistance of the subordinates. During the conversation, the supervisors should maintain their confidences by matching their verbal and nonverbal cues (Binsfrahm, 2014) For example, when they are verbally describing the potential positive impact of the change, they should
