In this article, the authors (Groves, Manges & Scott-Cawiezell) discusses the use of nursing bedside shift report (NBSR) and has been reccomended to serve the purpose of maintaining patient safety. The method use in data collection was Grounded theory from year 2014 to 2015 with bedside nurses in a pediatric ward. They also states the critical side of handing over patients to incoming nurses to provide safe and effective care with the use of correct information relating to their clients information and conditions.
