OT help the person with getting the help they need for the everyday life skills. What OT really does for people, are to help their fine motor skills, visual-perceptual skills, cognitive skills and sensory-processing deficits. Physical Therapy is treatment of disease, injury or deformity by using Physical methods such as exercise, massage and others, this is a way not to use drugs. ( “” ) The difference between OT and PT is that OT is for people with disabilities to help their motor skills and help with their daily life activities. PT is when a person get injured and PT helps the person strength out the muscles and helps get them get back on there feet and back to their everyday life without pain. There are some overlapping material that are the same in both OT and PT. One is that they both are in the health-care professional and that it involves injury recovery. For OT will need to have a bachelor’s and then a master degree but there is a program are a person to get an assistant job with a associates degree. OT students must go to a university accredited by accreditation council for Occupational Therapy education. Also “Take and pass the National Board for certification in Occupational Therapy Exam.” (U.S. News) The students have to have a minimum 24 weeks of fieldwork. But for Both PT and OT, can start fieldwork with the requirement of an associate’s degree from a community college. They both will need all of their core calls all done and get really good grade. PT has the same thing mostly,have to have a bachelors degree but with the right grades some college, the student can get a early freshmen entry into some of these
