The purpose of this paper is to summarize the methods used by the Pew Charitable Trusts and the Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies to release their findings on sage-grouse populations (Peterson, 2015 pg. 12). We will also be looking at their studies used and whether the decision of greater sage-grouse no longer being in need of the Endangered Species Act protection is the right decision.
