Destruction, terror, bombings, all because of one guy; Osama bin Laden. I chose to do Osama for many reasons. At first, the only thing that I knew about him was that he caused 9-11. Little did I know how brutal he really was. Also, Osama bin Laden seemed pretty interesting to me. I mean, he was the seventeenth out of fifty-two children, he had six wives, and he was a millionaire! (Osama) I bet you didn’t know that! Osama was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on March 10, 1957. He went to school for engineering .t King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah, and he was actually extremely good at engineering. Without Osama causing 9-11, there also most likely wouldn’t be as many memorials as there is today, and there wouldn’t be the 9-11 memorial. Have you ever been on a plane, and did you have to get rid of a water bottle or have to get a pat-down? Well, if it wasn’t for Osama bin Laden and 9-11, you wouldn’t have to of gone through that. In fact, before 9-11 you were able to carry a knife with a blade shorter than four inches on a plane. By 2004, screeners employed by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration nationwide confiscated more than 7 million items. Imagine how many items they examined today, in 2016.
