Patriotic Country Analysis

I was born in North Carolina on April 4th 1998. Where I grew up listening to an album titled Patriotic Country it is full of various artists such as Lee Greenwood, Martina McBride, Kenny Chesney and others. It was a compilation produced in response to the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001. I also grew up going to visit my cousins and grandmother in Northern Virginia where almost every time my family would visit our nation’s capital. I have also been on various trips to twenty-six out of the fifty states. On all of these trips and experiences I have learned what it means to be a citizen of the United States of America, and how proud I am to be an American.
My country is home to a vast land of great diversity that one can’t find anywhere else. The U.S. is home to glaciers, mountains, desserts, beaches and tundra. Wild life that can only be found here. I have also visited five national parks and many other locations managed by the park service. While I have visited many beautiful places in the world nothing beats the majesty of Denali national park and waking up to Mount McKinley towering over the clouds.

Those experiences in other countries show me how the melting pot of the US works today. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I also appreciate the richness of culture coming together in America. We have found a way to come together to form the American spirit that you don’t find in any other part of the world. In Shakopee, Minnesota, I went to middle school with kids who moved here from Russia, Mexico, Kenya, Cambodia and numerous other countries from all over the globe. All of their families moved to America to have a better life, and this is what makes up the American

The debate regarding offensive team names, specifically the Washington Redskins, first arose in 1972, however as time went on it became less of issue - until 2013. Two-thousand thirteen allowed for the introduction of this debate once again, it went on for years until it was partially resolved with the 2017 ruling that banning offensive team names was unconstitutional. Team names deemed offensive should not be banned because names represent culture appreciation, the economy could be harmed, and the label of offensive is subjective. The United States is often referred to as a melting pot.…

The Un-Affordable Health Care Plan The Affordable Care Act is a universally mandated act that allows for every citizen of the United States to obtain healthcare at a low and affordable price (Obamacare Facts). It was created mainly to help the lower class and those who could not afford the kind of health care available at that time. This can seem to be a great way to boost the unfortunate; but with it comes the countless disadvantages and unmoral regulations. The unconstitutional values of Obama’s Affordable Care Act infringes on basic human rights written in the U.S Constitution, and forces taxpayers to pay for the inhumane procedure that leaves around 1.5 million people dead each year (CDC). America is, and always has been known as the melting pot (Joyce Millet).…

I pledge Allegiance to the flag/of the United States of America/and to the Republic for which it stands, /one nation under God, indivisible, /with Liberty and Justice for all. While this was created over 100 years after the American Revolution, the Pledge of Allegiance rings loud for those who do and do not have the freedoms that are part of the United States Constitution, which was originally ratified in 1788. During that time, there were two distinct groups that were lobbying for their freedoms. There were poor men and non-Protestant men that wanted to feel as if they were a part of the equality that the constitution and the Declaration of Independence from 1776 proclaimed. Those that could not make ends meet, were less successful in safe guarding their own ‘revolution’ than those that dealt with religion.…

Critical Assessment of “Sentiments of the Nation,’ Chilpancingo, Mexico” Mexico had a hard time gaining independence around 1810-1815. The two men leading this struggle were Miguel Hidalgo and Jose Maria Morelos, both parish priests. Hidalgo was more reformed and quirky whereas Morelos was a little lack luster but had more respect from the community. Hidalgo made an insurrection in 1810 that expressed his opposition toward colonial government and the immigrant Spanish elite. Despite it declaring a rush for independence, he was still executed.…
