Throughout life, people go through many hardships. Whether it’s good or bad there is always something that comes out of it. As a high school senior, I was looking forward to graduation, while at the same time I was panicking about what might come next. All my friends were getting ready to head to college but because of my financial situation, I couldn’t.
During the summer of that year, I was exploring what choices I have as a freshly high school graduate. After performing a deep research, I decided to take a gap year. I read about many students who took a gap year and gained a lot of leadership skills and experience. Moreover, I saw this as a great opportunity for me to do things that I was not able to do when I was a high school
