In elementary school, I endured my first anxiety attack. My parents and I had to do extra things to help provide me with the help I needed to prevent these attacks from happening frequently. My anxiety would affect me every once in awhile, but they were nowhere near as bad as they were when I first started having them. Once I started my freshman year, my anxiety got worse. I would have frequent anxiety attacks and would constantly beg my parents to let me come home. The anxious feelings I was having were constant. I couldn’t focus in class and I was constantly feeling like I couldn’t do anything. I was scared of the material given in class. I was worried that I couldn’t catch on and wouldn’t be able to get the grades that I always strived
