Friendship Shouldn't be Hard

It was a prepossessing and extravagant day all the kids were running around on the high palace like buildings with the squishy, but still painful, tire chip ground under them. I knew that this sunny bright day could turn dark at any second if this kid knew about what she had said. My old friend could find a way to be mean to anyone without even a reason. She could do it in less than a second. She did it to me and I didn't even realize it until my other friend showed it to me and I started finding good friends for me.
The playground was a fun place where kids ran around and had a well-deserved break from the tedious 2nd grade. But, for me it was harder than in the classroom because I acted like someone I wasn't.

I asked what we were doing. “We are playing truth or dare,” said one of the girls. I went over to play to. The card we were doing right now said everyone playing flip to a random page in the yearbook and point your finger at someone. After doing that have the other player's prank call that person and sing a song. I wasn’t comfortable with this so I went upstairs and went in her room. I sat their for a while until all the girls came up. They drew the next card. It said tea-pi someone’s house. They all decided to go to this girls house that we didn't like and tea-pi her house. This girl told her mom and she said she would drive us their. I really didn’t want to go but I did. We were approaching the girl’s house slowly. As we were pulling up to her driveway my mom texted her mom that she was at the house and was wondering where we were. Her mom quickly replied to my mom in a long line at the McDonald's drive through. We drove over to McDonald’s got mcflurries and went back to her house. My mom was in the driveway. Before I got out of the car her mom told me not to tell my mom about what we were going to do. I nodded and headed out of the car over to my moms car. We started to drive home and I felt as though I was going to exploded keeping this from her. As we continued to drive home it blurted out of my mouth like a rocket going into the sky. She wasn’t mad at me but she was mad at the other mom for allowing us to do this and telling me not to tell her. I was glad I told my mom because I would have probably got in more trouble by not telling her. We were back at school on Monday and I was worried my mom had texted something to her mom and her mom told her. It turned out she didn't know about

As a member of a club called "The Best Buddies Club", our role as a member of the club was to be assigned a buddy whom suffered physical disabilities for a large majority of their life. Throughout my experience I had met many kids around my age with certain disabilities, and with that I learned about the lives lived by each and everyone of them. A few told me sorrowful stories of a time they were bullied either physically or verbally. It brought great disappointment to humanity as a whole, those kids were one of the sweetest I've ever met. This led our group and I to spread awareness with a motto of "spread the word to end the word", directed at abolishing the use of the word "retard" or as we called it "the r-word".…

The Struggle to Find Real Friends in a World of Counterfeits I learned from a very young age that making friends was not going to be easy for me. My parents, originating from the modest, genuine Canadian countryside raised me in Miami, the superficial capital of the world. My definition of friendship did not align with most Miamian’s definitions, to say the least. By six years old I had realized the importance of making friends based on their personalities, while every other six year old had already been engrained with Miami’s morals and had made friends for shallow reasons such as money and looks.…
