Personal Narrative: How A Family Changed My Life

I know that you life is very close to perfect at the moment. Your family recently grew with the addition of your baby sister whom you will grow to love very much. You have great friends, excel in school, and have a very large and loving family. However, you will face very sudden and drastic changes in the next couple of years. Although you may not realize it now, you have a lot to be thankful for.
Without understanding why, you will begin to notice your mom and dad arguing more. Eventually, you will grow old enough to realize that their marriage is not perfect. Do not let what you learn about your dad stop you from admiring him; regardless of his past mistakes, he is a changed man of loves you very much. Your parents will put all differences

The next day will mark the beginning of something new. You will feel starstruck at first at seeing all the bright lights at night, the cool stores at the mall, and the new modern cars that everyone drives. You will meet relatives that love you very much. Your aunt will go through the trouble of teaching you and your parents the social norms; funny enough, you will have McDonald's that day. As the beginning of the school year approaches, you will you begin to feel fear at the fact of going to school. The first day of school your mother will drop you off in tears, being more scared about you than you are. In contrast, when you get picked up that day you will cheer her up by telling her all the great things you did in school. Although you reject the idea of making new friends, open yourself up to those kids at school, they just want to help you. Not having to ask for help does not make you look cool, let those around you help you.
Meanwhile, your parents will start arguing again, disagreements become part of a daily routine.
Your parents will pick you up from school one day and tell you, "we are getting divorced."

You will have to go to work with mom to help her provide for the family. Give your mother every second of your time, she will really need your help. Even though your mom and dad got divorced, do not let that impede you from loving them equally.
Do not be afraid to go to that middle school because of its history and reputation, attending there you will teach you to defy stereotypes. There will be one man in particular who will change your
Alvelaez 3 life. He will help you see that there is more to life than what those around you are doing. This man will be like a second father to you, pushing you to go way beyond expectations. He will introduce to you a very special place called Jesuit. Do no be scared of Jesuit, it will help you develop as a man. Although you will face very hard times adjusting to the new environment, Jesuit is the place where you belong. You will meet some great friends that will be there with you for those difficult times.
You will go through many good and bad things throughout your life. However, the one thing that will always remain the same is that you will always be blessed with wonderful people in your life. Be there for them, appreciate them, and most importantly be thankful for
