I stepped into the house, closed the door, threw my schoolbag towards the sofa, walked straight into my room and lay on bed immediately. This week has been extremely exhausted for me and I could finally grab a chance to give myself a rest. While I was sleeping like a log, I could feel that something make leg itchy. I tried to kick it away but it seemed to be quite heavy and furry. I opened my eyes unwillingly and found that my cat, Sam, was trying to use his furry paws to wake me up. I then took a quick glance at the clock; it was already eleven at night. I had done nothing but sleeping for six whole hours, while I still had tons of homework to finish by tomorrow. I slept for several hours on the windowsill, ate the chicken in the refrigerator, the spent some hours on the pillow of my mother. Everything happened to be so peaceful and the life of a cat was just too cozy and perfect. On the other hand, for Sam, it was a totally different situation. I went to school at four in the afternoon to pick Sam, and during the time when we walked home, he seemed to be depressed and dull. I tried to invite him to play with me, but his eyes were dim and he just kept silent. “Okay, he’s tired only,” I comforted myself, “maybe it is difficult for him to adapt to such a busy life.” However, it was not that …show more content…
I scanned from street to street, from alley to alley, and from corner to corner. I knew that I was only a cat and I could not bear such physical burden so I tried my best to walk through every place as quick as I could. However, it seemed to have nothing found. Feelings of depression, anxiety and impatience all came up and I was totally desperate. I didn’t know what to do. I began to keep on running and running for no reason, just to vent all my negative emotions. But it only led me into exhaustion. I fell on the ground and could not stand up again. I lay on the floor, and discovered a tiny bottle of water somewhere right next to my furry paws. Feeling extremely thirsty, I immediately drank it without a second of hesitation. “Help!...” I yelled.
