As the school year came to an end, all we could think about was getting to the lake to start our last summer together before we all ventured off in separate directions. Starting to pack and load up the RV was all I could think about for days, seeing as this was the last summer we would all spend together. Stepping out of the RV for the first time that summer I remember, hearing all of the boats and Jet Ski’s out on the water. Everyone was enjoying themselves and all I could think was why weren’t ours in the water yet. After setting up camp, unloading the RV, and starting dinner, it was finally time to hit the water. Standing on the shoreline, you could see for miles with a perfect view of the sunset as it set just behind the cliffs. With beautiful, vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows all swirled together to make a perfect sunset, my best friend and I jumped onto our jet skis and headed to our favorite spot, “the cliffs”. As we arrived, all you could see in the cove were boats lined up and tied together, people jumping from 30 feet into the water below, and the sound of people laughing and having a good time. We tied our jet skis to the side of my grandparent’s boat, took off our life vests, and jumped into the water. As we swam to the edge of the cliffs, I remember the sound of the waves crashing against them from people jumping and boats coming and going. Once we climbed out of the water and made our way up the steep cliff, I remember thinking, “I hope I don’t slip and fall”. Surprisingly, as clumsy as I am, we made it to the top with no problem. Seeing as I am completely terrified of heights, it took me a while before I was able to finally jump off of the cliff. While in mid-air, falling towards the water, I could hear
